![]() The BCYC Capital Campaign continues to grow! BCYC has received over $600,000 in cash and pledges and another $75,000 of in-kind donations. With Belton’s growth, BCYC is also facing a tremendous need to care for students in the afternoon and summer months. At this time, BCYC is leasing additional space from BISD during the summer months to accommodate this growth. Future construction is estimated to be at 1.5 million and will contain a new 9,900 square foot building, a storage/parking area, and additional playground improvements. The new building will contain spaces for computers, active games, arts and crafts, drama, and a kitchen that will facilitate educational space for students to learn cooking skills. In addition, a large room will be available for community education efforts, with hopes to offer classes for adults and older students in the community.
